Job description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist assists and performs angiographic and interventional procedures under the guidance of the physician.
This person performs a variety of complex specialized tasks eminent in operating radiologic equipment and to aid in the performance of vascular, cardiac, neuroradiology, angiographic, diagnostic and interventional procedures.
This position assist the radiologist, cardiologist and/or vascular surgeon during procedure to include handling of instruments, operating and monitoring equipment, calling out equipment readings, alerting physician to changes in patient condition.
Provides quality care to patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiologic and cardiac procedures.
These imaging examinations are in multiple settings.
Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
