Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT exams while ensuring patient safety and high-quality image production. Collaborate with radiologists and hospital staff to provide accurate clinical data for diagnosis.
Must hold a valid ARRT registration and ODH license, or obtain them within 18 months of hire. Requires BLS certification, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks related to patient positioning.
Fulltime 48 hr. position 2-12 hr. shifts a week Working in a fast paced progressive Imaging Services Department
Operate under the direction of the Imaging Services Director, and/or Manager. For clinical direction the Medical Director of Radiology will have direct influence over the tasks performed. The Imaging Services Technologist will perform exams that include Diagnostic Testing, Therapeutic Exams, and Moderate Interventional Procedures.
• 3 years previous experience in the field of Medical Imaging

CT Technologists assist the Radiologist/Physician with the process of imaging for diagnosing illness. CT Technologists job descriptions include tasks such as: capturing the image, obtaining the best quality image, and ensuring the patients are comfortable and safe. The CT Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedure to the patient. In addition, be sure that they are comfortable and at ease during the procedure; however, it is very important that they do what is necessary to obtain a high quality image that will be sufficient for thorough examination by the physician to allow for accurate interpretation and diagnosis.
