The therapist performs social service functions including crisis intervention, family and group therapy, and discharge planning for youth patients. They serve as an integral member of the treatment team and manage the case management needs of patients and their support systems.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a mental health or human services field such as counseling, social work, or psychology. Two years of experience in a behavioral health facility, preferably with children and adolescents, is desired.
Strong clinical assessment skills with majority of experience focused on the child/adolescent population, Must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in job description. Perform bio-psychosocial assessments that result in abroad picture of treatment needs, and aids in the development of a multidisciplinary treatment plan. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Master’s Degree in a mental health/human services field from an accredited college (counseling, social work, psychology) required.
Certified Residential Medication Aide/Personal Support Specialist (CRMA/PSS)
Domestic and Sexual Violence Counselor
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
Wound care Registered Nurse, RN or LPN
Ophthalmic Technician
Resident Care Associate
