The Patient Support Technician performs routine assistive tasks to support registered nurses in meeting basic patient needs. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and monitoring vital signs.
Candidates must have completed a Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant, or Nursing Fundamentals course. Previous related experience is preferred, and candidates must complete a unit secretary course within 90 days of hire.
