The Histotechnician embeds, cuts, and stains a wide variety of surgical and research tissue specimens for microscopic evaluation. They are responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, performing quality control, and ensuring efficient laboratory operations.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of directly related work experience. A professional certification as a Histotechnician (HT-ASCP) or Histotechnologist (HTL-ASCP) is required or must be obtained within 1.5 years.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $48.38 - $54.48 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
