Seeking General Neurologist We have a fantastic opportunity for a new or experienced Neurologist to join the rapidly expanding and highly collegial team of talented and dedicated professionals at Logan Health Medical Center, Department of Neurology. We are nestled in the backdrop of Glacier National park in the town of Kalispell, MT. Our hospital is the main referral center for the Flathead Valley and surrounding communities with a catchment population of approximately 100,000 people. Our group of 6 physicians and 2 ARNPs is currently made up of stroke, headache, neuromuscular, neuro-radiology, epilepsy and general neurologists. We are also fortunate to have 4 neurosurgeons and two full-time pediatric neurologists who cover the Children’s Hospital. This breadth of experience makes us a great opportunity for new graduates who are looking for mentorship in an array of different disciplines. For more experienced providers, we are eager to continue to grow our clinic’s capacity and ability to provide high quality care in a variety of different areas including but not limited to general, neuromuscular, movement, behavior and cognitive. We provide an array of supplementary services such as EMG, EEG, sleep medicine and tele-stroke consultation which allows us to support the whole continuum of neurological care in our rural setting. Our hospital boasts a dedicated primary stroke program that has achieved some of the best post-stroke outcomes in Montana and within the USA. We have a budding Neurohospitalist program currently shared between our two Stroke Neurologists who provide the majority of the hospital on-call coverage (with exception of 6-8 weeks per year, which are shared amongst the other outpatient providers).
