The hospice medical social worker is responsible for conducting psychosocial evaluations, providing ongoing counseling, and delivering bereavement services. They also perform community education outreach and provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and families according to the plan of care.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work from an accredited school and possess a current state license as a social worker. Additionally, at least 2 years of clinical work experience in healthcare or hospice is required, along with reliable transportation.

Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively
