The Optometric Technician will assist optometrists with comprehensive eye exams and vision testing in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, documenting patient findings, and maintaining ophthalmic equipment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those who have completed an Optometric or Ophthalmic Technician training program. Prior experience in optometry or ophthalmology and the ability to travel to various facilities are strongly preferred.
