Requires a graduate degree from an approved nursing program and a current Alabama registered nurse license with CRNP or DNP designation. Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications and possess effective emergency department clinical skills.

Provides professional care to patients presenting with a broad variety of medical or surgical complaints which range from non-urgent to emergent in nature within the scope of a certified registered nurse practitioner or doctorate prepared nurse practitioner.
Education / Licensure / Certification: Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Must have a current registered nurse license in the State of Alabama, with designation: CRNP or DNP. Graduate of an approved program for Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner Possesses skills needed for functioning effectively as an emergency department health care provider. Maintain collaboration requirements per hospital bylaws and Alabama Board of Nursing.
