The Nurse Practitioner provides general inpatient care to patients of all ages, including conducting tests and recording medical histories. They also assist physicians, provide treatments, and prescribe medications within their scope of practice.
Candidates must hold an MSN with specialization as an ARNP and possess a current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse. A minimum of two years of inpatient nurse practitioner experience and BLS certification are required.
The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP2. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse3. BLS upon hire and maintain current4. Two years of experience as a nurse practitioner working inpatient.5. Previous experience with electronic health record.
