The Nurse Practitioner provides general care to patients of all ages, including conducting tests, recording medical histories, and providing treatments. They also assist physicians and enhance public awareness regarding health importance while prescribing necessary medications.
Candidates must hold an MSN with specialization as an ARNP and be licensed in the State of Kansas as an Advanced Practice Nurse. A BLS certification is required, and one to two years of experience in a surgical practice is preferred.
The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications. You will be caring for patients of all ages that present to our facility.
Weekday shifts are 12-hours (8am-8pm) Saturday shifts are 6 hours (8am-2pm) Closed Sundays Medical Malpractice Insurance fully covered
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP 2. Licensed in the State of Kansas as an Advanced Practice Nurse 3. BLS certification, upon hire and maintained current 4. One to two years of experience as a practitioner in a surgical practice preferred. 5. Previous experience with electronic health record.
