The Pathology Lab Assistant is responsible for organizing and prepping slides, accessioning specimens, and maintaining lab documentation. They also manage supply inventory and ensure lab equipment is maintained according to quality control standards.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with working knowledge of biology, chemistry, and histology. One year of clinical experience in a pathology setting and familiarity with CLIA regulatory requirements are preferred.
