The Patient Care Technician provides high-quality, patient-centered care by assisting with activities of daily living and performing delegated clinical tasks. They also maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure effective communication within the healthcare team under the supervision of nursing staff.
Candidates should have 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or be currently enrolled in a nursing program. A Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire, with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) credentials preferred.

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated tasks in alignment with the PCT's training and the department's needs. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (LVN at Texas facilities), the PCT supports patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining a safe and organized care environment, and ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team.
