The Certified Nursing Assistant assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care, including activities of daily living and emotional support. They perform clinical skills under the direction of nursing staff and maintain a clean and comfortable environment for patients.
Candidates must complete a nursing assistant course and hold a current Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS Certification. A minimum of six months' experience in an acute or long-term care facility is required.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent including education equivalent to completion of secondary school or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the role. (Preferred) Licenses/Certification CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of practice Upon Hire (Required) and BCLS - Basic Life Support Like AHA or Red Cross Within Facility-Specified time frame (Required) Experience 6 months in an acute care or long-term care facility (Preferred)
