The Cath Lab Tech assists physicians during invasive cardiac procedures and provides direct or indirect cardiovascular clinical care. They are also responsible for the maintenance and operation of all cath lab equipment.
Candidates must be a graduate of an RN, RCIS, or RCES program and possess at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, and appropriate state licensure.
Overview Cath Lab Tech ll, Fulltime, Piedmont Columbus Midtown Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Education Graduate from a nursing program a Registered Nurse (RN) program Required or Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program Required or Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required Work Experience 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required Licenses and Certifications Based on type of program completed, one of the follow is required.
