The Medical Assistant II provides direct medical support to physicians, including obtaining vital signs and chaperoning patients during visits. They are also responsible for maintaining medical documentation and managing the scheduling of care, diagnostic tests, and prescription requests.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of patient care experience in a physician's office and hold a Certified Medical Assistant credential. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
