The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computerized tomographic examinations using ionizing radiation to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. They provide comprehensive patient care across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program. Required certifications include ARRT registration and Basic Life Support (BCLS).
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
