The physical therapist will perform assessments and provide treatments for orthopedic, neurologic, and oncology patients. They will also educate patients and their families while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy and possess a valid NYS Physical Therapist license. A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, along with 1-2 years of experience and BLS certification.
The Outpatient Physical Therapist provides outpatient services to primarily orthopedic, neurologic and oncology patients at our DeMatteis Center location. Responsibilities will include: Physical Therapy assessment and treatment of patients Education of patients and family members Work with an interdisciplinary team for individualized plans of care and transition planning
Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred. NYS Physical Therapist license Strong communication and interpersonal skills 1-2 years’ experience preferred BLS required within 60 days of hire
