The Emergency Services Associate II provides direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and medical staff in the emergency department. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, collecting specimens, and performing clinical procedures according to established standards.
Candidates must possess the ability to perform clinical tasks such as injections and dressing changes while maintaining professional communication with patients and families. The role requires physical stamina for patient handling and the ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment.
The Emergency Services Associate II works under the supervision of the Director of Emergency Services or designee. The Emergency Services Associates cares for patients under direction of RN and medical staff by performing the primary duties according to established standards.
