The LPN will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and monitor patient responses within a behavioral health program. They are also responsible for documenting care in the EHR, participating in crisis intervention, and supervising mental health workers.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Practical Nursing program and hold an active Pennsylvania LPN license. At least one year of LPN experience and CPR certification are required, with behavioral health experience strongly preferred.

Overview The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard is seeking a dependable and professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our behavioral health nursing team within the Return Program. This program supports adults with psychiatric conditions, substance use disorders, and co occurring diagnoses in a structured, therapeutic environment focused on stabilization, recovery, and continuity of care.
This role is ideal for nurses who are experienced or interested in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and working within a multidisciplinary care team. The position offers consistent scheduling options and the opportunity to make a direct impact in a high acuity clinical setting.
Work Environment This is a fully onsite position within a behavioral health setting. The role requires the ability to remain calm and responsive in high pressure situations, including behavioral health emergencies and crisis intervention scenarios.
