The Wound Ostomy RN assesses, plans, and implements care for patients with ostomies and urinary diversions. They also serve as a clinical consultant for patients experiencing complex wounds and altered skin integrity.
Candidates must hold a Washington Registered Nurse License and BLS certification, with WOCN certification required within two years. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred, and experience managing complex wounds and ostomies is required.
A clinical expert who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care for patients with ileostomies, colostomies, and urinary diversions. Functions as a consultant for patients with altered skin integrity, including pressure ulcers and complicated wounds.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
