The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders within their homes. They are responsible for developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with families and healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess an active SLP SLP license and ASHA certification. At least one year of clinical speech therapy experience and a current driver's license are required.
Provide therapy to patients in their homes, including techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills. Customize therapy strategies to meet individual patient goals and objectives. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards. Provide training and support for family members to assist with therapeutic exercise and strategies at home.
