• Employee Recognition & Rewards: A culture that celebrates and rewards your hard work and dedication What you bring to SBHG: Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required.
• Associate degree, preferred.
• One (1) year of service experience treating the mentally ill in an inpatient setting, preferred.
• One (1) year of medication administration experience is required.
• Valid California LVN or LPT license.
• Current CPR certification First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross.
• How you will make a difference: The LVN / LPT provides direct client care including the administration of medications and supervising nursing activities performed by professional and para-professional nursing personnel on the unit.
• Duties include Ordering, preparing, administering, and documenting the administration of medication for clients according to physicians’ orders.
• Confirming delivery of all ordered medication from the pharmacy on shift worked.
• Communicating pertinent information verbally and in writing to all team members.
• Responsible for writing a weekly summary on the client as assigned.
