• Purpose: - The MS Therapist (Unlicensed) at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients under the supervision of a licensed therapist. The role involves supporting individuals with mental health challenges, facilitating their journey towards improved emotional and psychological well-being.
• Key
• Responsibilities: - Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. - Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques. - Collaborate with licensed therapists to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and adherence to treatment plans. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress, and treatment outcomes. - Participate in case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies. - Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. - Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health therapy and integrate new knowledge into practice. - Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
• QualificationsRequired
• Education: - Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Experience: - Experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably with individuals experiencing mental health challenges. - Familiarity with therapeutic techniques and interventions used in counseling and psychotherapy. - Experience in case management and developing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
