• Education
• Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related allied health field from an accredited program.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care specialty nursing.
• One (1) to three (3)
• Skills: Strong knowledge of coronary anatomy, cardiac physiology, and hemodynamics. Proficiency in sterile technique, radiation safety, and contrast administration. Ability to recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias and hemodynamic instability. Ability to function effectively in high-acuity, time-sensitive situations. Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing clinical priorities.

• Certification: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT[R]) through ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI required within one calendar year of start date. Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire) as required by specialty.
