The ACA provides patient-centered care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, focusing on respect for patient preferences and needs. Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care activities, communication with patients and families, and collaboration within the healthcare team.
Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and have graduated from an accredited medical assisting or nursing assistant program. Preferred experience includes 12-18 months in a relevant patient care environment, along with demonstrated clinical competency.
