Perform preliminary patient work-ups, assist physicians during examinations, and document encounters in electronic medical records. Manage patient communication regarding follow-up care and maintain ophthalmic equipment.
Requires a high school diploma and certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Scribe, or willingness to obtain OSC within 30 days. Preferred candidates have six months of outpatient medical office experience and basic computer proficiency.
