Northern Virginia Family Services (NVFS) is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Mental Health Counselor to support youth and families. This full-time temporary role is ideal for professionals with a master’s degree in social work counseling psychology or a related field who are ready to apply their clinical skills in a fast-paced community-based setting.
In this role, you will work with low-income immigrant families navigating trauma violence and reunification challenges through a comprehensive and culturally responsive approach.
This is a temporary, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) ending September 30, 2026. The hourly rate is $31.34 is and the role follows a hybrid schedule.
You will play a key role in supporting youth and families impacted by trauma and complex life transitions, helping them heal and build long-Term stability. Your work will contribute to safer, more resilient communities by addressing the root causes of family and community violence through holistic care.
