The Echo Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound and vascular imaging procedures to evaluate heart and vascular structure and function. They also document findings in electronic medical records and collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient treatment planning.
Candidates must have 0-1 years of experience and hold RDCS or RVT certification. A Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is also required for this position.
The Echo/Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound and vascular imaging procedures to evaluate the structure and function of the heart and vascular system. This role supports patient care across multiple departments, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results that aid in patient treatment planning.
Qualifications: 0-1 years of experience in echocardiography and/or vascular imaging required
Basic understanding of echocardiography and vascular imaging techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff. Ability to handle imaging equipment safely and accurately. Good organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care. Proficiency in using EMR systems and diagnostic imaging software. Licenses and Certifications RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer required or RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist required BCLS - Basic Life Support required INDSURGIMG
