The LPN provides daily nursing care, manages medications, and coordinates with the treatment team to support program participants. They are also responsible for training staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with agency regulations.
Candidates must hold an A.A.S. degree or high school diploma with a specialized trade certificate, along with a valid NYS LPN license. A valid NYS driver's license is required, as is the ability to obtain CPR and SCIP-R certifications.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible to provide daily nursing care, order medications, provide updates to the RN and Nurse Practitioners, train and orient AMAP’s, schedule appointments, participate in agency activities and complete required documentation.
