Provides pharmaceutical supportive services including filling, processing, and dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities include IV compounding, restocking automated dispensing cabinets, and maintaining strict compliance with USP 797/800 guidelines.
Requires a high school diploma and a valid Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Michigan. Completion of a formal pharmacy technician program or an associate degree and certification are preferred.

Previous pharmacy experience, hospital-based pharmacy experience preferred. Formal Pharmacy Technician program experiential education may be considered in lieu of work experience. Licensure in the State of Michigan is required. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
