The Medical Scribe assists ophthalmology and optometry providers by accurately documenting patient exams in the Electronic Medical Record system. They also support clinical efficiency by managing patient flow, preparing exam rooms, and handling administrative tasks like scheduling and prescription dispensing.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess strong typing and communication skills. While no previous experience is required, one year of direct patient care or medical scribing experience is preferred.
