The psychiatrist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients through medication, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions. They will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans and provide patient care in inpatient or outpatient settings.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with four to seven years of internship and residency training in psychiatry. A current Pennsylvania medical license, DEA license, and board certification are required.
Independence Health is in search of a licensed Psychiatrist specializing in mental health, responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients using medication, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions. Key duties include conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient or outpatient settings.
