The therapist is responsible for conducting initial evaluations and facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions. They also provide essential assistance with patient discharge planning while adhering to professional standards.
Candidates must comply with all rules and regulations set by the Georgia Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists. The role requires following established standards and procedures for patient care.
