The Occupational Therapy Assistant provides direct patient care and assists the Staff Occupational Therapist with treatment activities. They are responsible for documenting patient progress, maintaining treatment areas, and educating families on maintenance programs.
Candidates must be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state and maintain that license in good standing. Proficiency in computer programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care is required, along with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
