The Community Treatment Technician provides person-centered, recovery-oriented psychosocial rehabilitation and supportive services to youth and adults in various community settings. They also facilitate groups, assist with medication monitoring, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in behavioral health or a related field. A valid unrestricted Wisconsin driver’s license and the ability to complete psychosocial rehabilitation training are also required.
The Mental Health Technician supports youth and adults in Community Treatment programs by helping them build skills, manage symptoms, and work toward greater independence. Services are provided in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, clinics, and the community. This role focuses on promoting safety, daily living skills, and community involvement. The Mental Health Technician may also provide support during crises, lead group activities, assist with medication monitoring, and work closely with a team to ensure individuals receive coordinated, effective care.
