The Pharmacy Technician provides distributive pharmacy services and support to the registered pharmacist. Key duties include refilling automated dispensing systems, filling medication carts, and maintaining pharmacy inventory.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and be registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy. Additionally, a PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification or Pharmacy Intern status is required.

Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist. Essential Functions Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems. Fills medication carts on a daily basis. Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department. Repackages bulk medications.
and requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required Licenses: Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy in good standing and PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Intern Certifications: N/A Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
