The Occupational Therapist implements high-quality therapy services and develops comprehensive treatment plans for patients recovering from traumatic injuries or illnesses. They also supervise assistants and aides while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and staff to ensure effective case management.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and possess a current, valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure. Additionally, a Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required for this role.
Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality occupational therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of occupational therapy and with outpatient policies and procedures Develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, and provides quality patient care Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff
