The Dental Hygienist will conduct oral health assessments, perform cleanings, and provide preventative treatments for residents in senior care communities. They are responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and educating patients and families on proper oral hygiene practices.
Candidates must hold a valid Dental Hygiene or Registered Dental Hygiene license and possess a valid independent certification to practice. The role requires 100% travel, necessitating reliable transportation, a good driving record, and car insurance.

Essential Job Functions: Oral Health Assessments: Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including for signs of oral diseases and abnormalities. Acts as an autonomous clinician responsible for comprehensive oral hygiene assessments. Teeth Cleaning: Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth. Preventative Treatment: Apply preventative treatments like fluoride applications and sealants. Patient Education: Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing and dietary recommendations.
