Provide direct crisis intervention, safety planning, and emotional support to survivors of domestic violence and their children. Maintain accurate case documentation and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
Requires a high school diploma with 4+ years of experience or an associate degree with 2+ years of experience in social services or gender-based violence. Candidates must possess strong advocacy skills and the ability to work flexible shifts in a shelter environment.

We are now hiring for a full-time DV Advocate to join our team at DuPage! This is a meaningful opportunity to support survivors and be part of a compassionate, mission-driven program. This role is part of a 24-hour program, and flexibility in scheduling is required to ensure continuous coverage. While shift assignments may vary based on program needs, the organization makes every effort to offer consistent scheduling, typically structured as a five-day 8-hour shifts workweek including one weekend day. Scheduling needs will include holidays.

• The average starting salary for this position will fall in the range of $44,000 to $48,000 annually. Where candidates fall in this range will be based on skill and experience level.
$1,000 Sign-on Bonus for first time employees with MFS! ($500 on the first paycheck and $500 after one year of employment).
• Satisfactorily pass all relevant screenings and criminal background checks.
• Driving for work required with a personally owned vehicle. Travel between sites required.
