The LPN provides practical nursing support in a plastic surgery clinic, including patient assessments, medication administration, and assisting with clinical procedures. They also maintain the clinical environment, manage electronic medical records, and perform lab or radiology tasks as directed.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing and hold a current LPN license in the State of Virginia. A current AHA BLS-HCP certification is required, and one year of physician office experience is preferred.
Customer driven. Demonstrates a positive demeanor, good verbal and written communication skills, and a professional appearance and approach. Must have the ability to problem-solve and communicate with a wide variety of people in an effective manner. Must exhibit skills to utilize automated computer systems, including electronic medical records. Keyboarding skills required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
