The counselor will facilitate group therapy sessions, maintain clinical progress notes, and formulate treatment plans for clients. They will also collaborate with medical providers and community partners to ensure effective case management and care coordination.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor or Graduate degree in a mental health-related field and possess a valid New Hampshire license such as LADC, MLADC, LMFT, LCMHC, or LICSW. At least 2-3 years of experience in substance use or a related field is required.

In this role, you will interact regularly with clients, referral sources, field staff, and members of the local community. You will be a resource for clients and community partners, guiding them on the path to recovery. You will work side by side with a high impact team of medical providers, recovery coaches and coordinators, helping clients to thrive. Your work is essential and your constant feedback will be expected to help clients reach the best outcome possible. Unless otherwise specified, this position is remote (work from home) with expectation of attending team meetings quarterly. A potential for hybrid capability further in the future is preferred. \n
Demonstrating and communicating the core values of Better Life Partners Facilitating group therapy sessions for Better Life Partners clients Familiarizing with and utilizing Better Life Partners evidence-based curriculum guides and training Providing detailed feedback and maintaining clinical progress notes on clients Counseling one-on-one with clients, when deemed necessary Participating in Better Life Partners’, community research and public health partners’ research and data collection efforts Formulating and maintaining treatment plans for each client served Collaborating with community partners and Better Life Partners providers on case management and care coordination efforts Adhering to professional and ethical work standards, enforcing appropriate counselor/client boundaries Managing group dynamics and problem behavior with strong, professional judgement and in a way that does not jeopardize group integrity Maintaining compliance with federal, state and local regulations for licensing and billing purposes Attending and engaging in regular training, company meetings, monthly counselor consultation, and supervision as necessary
Bachelor or Graduate degree in mental health, social work, psychology, addictions or related field NH License as LADC, MLADC, LMFT, LCMHC, LICSW; Master level preferred 2-3 years of experience working with substance use or related field Valid driver’s license
Demonstrated experience leading groups therapy sessions, interacting, engaging, and connecting with individuals and groups over telehealth/zoom Comfortable working with an EMR and/or EHR system, including updating clinical notes Willingness to travel locally within the communities we serve Must be able to have a flexible schedule, including the ability to work 2 evenings a week to meet our member’s needs Self-motivated to help as many people as possible Team player with an “all hands on deck” positive attitude, organized/able to multitask Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor Bi-lingual Spanish proficiency
BLP operates in hybrid and remote work environments, which allows us to better meet our members and partners where they’re located. Candidates applying for this role must be willing and able to travel locally within the communities we serve and/or travel to onsite meetings as expected in coordination with their department and business needs.

\n $48,230 - $63,525 a year The actual compensation offered within the range, along with title and level, will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, business requirements, and performance expectations. \n #LI-JH1
