The Pet Therapy Volunteer provides comfort and emotional support to hospice patients through supervised visits with a certified therapy animal. They are responsible for ensuring safe interactions and offering a calming presence to patients and their families.
Candidates must possess a registered or certified therapy animal through a recognized therapy pet organization. The role requires the ability to conduct scheduled visits and monitor animal behavior to ensure positive interactions.
