The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with pulmonary system deficiencies. Duties include performing intubation, managing conventional and high-frequency ventilators, and assisting in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transport.
Candidates must hold a degree in Respiratory Care and possess active ASBRT LRT and NBRC RRT credentials. A minimum of one year of experience in respiratory therapy or pulmonary function testing is required, along with BLS certification.
