Performs high-quality ultrasound imaging exams under minimal supervision while collaborating with physicians and maintaining equipment. Ensures accurate patient identification, documentation, and adherence to safety and regulatory protocols.
Requires an Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and ARDMS certification. Candidates must also hold or obtain RVT or RVS certification and maintain BLS certification.
JOB SUMMARY Works under minimal supervision with the physicians to perform ultrasound imaging exams, exam protocols, accreditation, operations, and facilitation of equipment maintenance.

Ultrasound Sonographer, $10K Sign On Bonus
Required Education Associate's Degree Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program Licenses and Certifications (ARDMS) AMER REGIS DIAG MED SONO American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and (RVT) REGISTERED VASCULAR TECH Registered Vascular Technologist or (RVS) REGISTERED VASCULAR SPECIALIST Registered Vascular Specialist and (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) by first day of employment In the event that a sonographer is hired without RVT or RVS certification, they must obtain RVT certification within six (6) months of their hire date. Failure to meet this requirement within the specified timeframe may result in separation from employment.
