The COTA supports occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans and administering programs to enhance functional performance for residents. Responsibilities include documenting patient progress, instructing families on home programs, and maintaining therapy equipment.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree or vocational training and a current license from the Tennessee Board of Occupational Therapy. Active BLS/CPR certification is required, and experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred.
