The physician conducts comprehensive medical evaluations, manages infectious disease treatments, and formulates evidence-based care plans. They also participate in multidisciplinary team conferences and provide on-call coverage as scheduled.
Candidates must hold a medical degree, have completed residency training, and possess board certification or eligibility. A Connecticut medical license and CPR certification are required, along with admitting privileges at specified hospitals.
We are seeking an Infectious Disease Physician who provides reasonable and prudent medical care, exercises sound clinical judgment, and practices appropriate patient management grounded in best‑practice standards and evidence‑based medicine. This physician delivers high‑quality medical services within the full scope of their licensure, training, and credentialing, ensuring safe, ethical, and effective care for all patients.
Degree from an accredited Medical School. Documented completion of Residency training from an accredited institution. CPR Certification is required.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility. (Board certification must be attained within the timeframe dictated by one’s specialty in order to remain on staff at the CS-HHC if one was originally board-eligible at the time of one’s hire.) Connecticut Licensure. Admitting privileges at Yale-New Haven Hospital, HSR, and/or Griffin Hospital as indicated.
