The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct patient care in a clinical setting under the supervision of medical professionals. They are responsible for ensuring patient safety, comfort, and the effective organization of care based on clinical needs.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved vocational nursing program and hold a current Texas LVN license. A minimum of 6 months of clinical experience and American Heart Association BLS certification are required.
Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program Current and valid Texas LVN license BLS through the American Heart Association 6+ months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population for the assigned clinical area. For Per Diem LVN II: 4+ years of experience in a clinical area (Licensed Vocational Nurse II) For Per Diem LVN III: 9+ years of experience in a clinical area (Licensed Vocational Nurse III) Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
