The Licensed Practical Nurse provides skilled nursing care to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include performing assessments, administering medications, conducting treatments, and providing patient education while ensuring safety and quality outcomes.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program and hold a current, unrestricted LPN license. Additionally, applicants must possess current CPR certification and pass required criminal record and safety registry checks.

The LPN supports patient care through assessments, medication administration, treatments, patient education, and documentation while promoting patient safety, independence, and quality outcomes.
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice or current practical nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held it must be in the nurse’s state of residence Current CPR certification (AHA BLS) in 30 days Must pass KDADS criminal record check upon hire Must register and successfully pass the Family Care Safety Registry upon hire.
