The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care and coordinating medical services for individuals in assigned IRA sites. This includes assessing medical needs, planning interventions, administering medication, and monitoring overall medical care.
Candidates should have a BSN preferred or ASN accepted, along with updated First Aid/CPR certifications and 2-3 years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. Completion of mandated courses in Infection Control and Abuse/Incident Reporting is also required.
The Vice President of Development Disability Community Program & Employment Services provides person-centered visionary, strategic, and operational leadership to a portfolio of programs including WOW (Without Walls), With Walls, Community Habilitation, and Supported Employment across NYC, Westchester, and Rockland County. This executive-level position is responsible for program growth, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, staff development, and service outcomes, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to integrated into their local community, enhance independent life skills and explore potential employment opportunities. Core Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of innovative, person-centered day habilitation, comm habilitation and pre-vocational services focused on community inclusion, skill development, and self-determination (Must have experience in these areas) Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans aligned with agency goals, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices. Identify emerging trends, funding opportunities, and partnership prospects to expand services and increase community impact. Maintain and continuously improve compliance with Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) accreditation standards, ensuring ongoing accreditation status and enhancing service quality through alignment with best practices. Create and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and dashboards to measure program effectiveness, participation, employment outcomes, and satisfaction levels. Drive performance improvement initiatives to increase individual progress and community engagement. Increase community integration opportunities by 30% in the first year across all programs. Ensure programs maintain full compliance with OPWDD, Medicaid, and other relevant regulations, audits, and certifications. Partner with finance to develop and manage multi-million-dollar budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and funding optimization. Monitor and analyze financial performance, adjust operational strategies to meet revenue and margin goals, and ensure proper billing practices. Advocate for individuals served in local and state forums, supporting legislation and policy improvements. Lead family and guardian engagement strategies to ensure satisfaction and collaboration. Build and mentor high-performing leadership and direct support teams. Promote a culture of accountability, empowerment, and innovation. Develop a succession plan for key roles. Master’s degree in Human Services, Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in disability services or human services field, including Day Hab and Comm Hab programs required. In-depth knowledge of OPWDD services, HCBS Waiver, and employment supports (e.g., ACCES-VR, Supported Employment). Demonstrated success managing complex programs, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication, analytical, and strategic planning skills. Commitment to person-centered, community-based services. Demonstrated strong commitment to safety. Salary Range: $155,000 to $170,000 per year
